<1> Five kilns were excavated with field system and other features. Late 2nd to early 3rd century in date. Clay built and dug into floor level. Suggested chamber built above ground level of clay blocked with turf.

<2> Excavation in advance of housing development 1974 revealed 5 kilns, all of which were clay built. Appeared that kiln chambers situated above ground kilns and associated features cut across system of shallow ditches which form series of small rectangular fields and enclosures in low lying area of Potteric Carr, to West. Industry appears to date from late 2nd century to early 3rd century. "The 1974 site produced more material on the Cantley tradition, but revealed little in the way of new information" .
