Summary

Central part of the west section of Grim's Ditch, with two scheduled areas within the De La Beche holding but also an undesignated ditch; likely to have been reused as the northern boundary of a medieval deer park

Full Description

A survey in 2003 indicated that the earthworks of Grim's Ditch are De La Beche are more extensive than those scheduled, and that extending the Scheduled Area should be considered <1>.

It was also noted that the bank and ditch appeared to have been used to form the northern boundary of the 14th century De la Beche deer park, the southern boundary lying in Beche Park Wood.
