Full Description

A group of three chest tombs to the south of St Mary's Church are Grade II listed <1><2>. Historic England's listing identified them as Tomb A, B and C <2>. Tomb A dates from around 1800, is made of ashlar, and has fluted corner balusters and a moulded top. Tomb B dates from 1861 and is also made of ashlar. Its sides have gothic panelling, and it has a moulded top and base. Tomb C dates from around 1800, is made of ashlar, has fluted corner balusters, and a moulded top and base.
