Full Description
Colthrop Bridge is marked on the First Edition Ordnance Survey mapping <1> and on later epochs up to 1970 <2>. It links Colthrop Mill to the north of the canal with cottages on the south side. A photograph in West Berkshire Museum's collection shows the bridge and cottages in c 1910 <3>.
The swing bridge may have been removed in connection with canal restoration.
