Full Description
A bridge is marked on the First Edition Ordnance Survey mapping <1> and named as a foot bridge or swing bridge on later editions up to the 4th Epoch <2>. It linked Greenham Mills to the south of the Kennet and Avon Canal with the tow path to the north. By 1967 it had been replaced by a longer footbridge <3>. In 2000 a planning application was approved for a new timber footbridge <4>.
