GREENHAM TO WHARF CUT 1723. WHARF TO NEWBURY LOCK CUT 1794.
SECTION PAST NORTHBROOK ST BRIDGE HAS NO TOWPATH AND IT WAS NECESSARY TO FLOAT A TOWLINE DOWN STREAM TO FACILITATE TOWING.
