Full description

Non-parochial chapel serving the castle.

First incidental reference to 'the chapel of Worcester Castle' in an account of knights' fees held of the bishop in the 12th century. {1} St Peter's referred to by name in Bishop Giffard's register for 1276, recording the appointment of its priest {2}. Last referred to in 1402, when it was still standing {3}. Called 'the Less' to distinguish it from St Peter the Great nearby. Location and character unknown. {4}
