Full description
Yields abundant faunal and artefactual remains including extensive Neanderthal and early Homo Sapien artefacts. Locally overlies and contains the channel-filling organics of the Fladbury Beds. Also is likely to contain reworked Ipswichian faunal remains.
In 2013 research was performed by Worcestershire Archive and Archaeology service for the National Heritage Protection Plan Project "Putting the Palaeolithic into Worcestershire's HER". The project identified a number of areas of palaeolithic potential. [1]
