Full description

On the south bank of the River Teme near Eastham Bridge, in a field called Castle Tump Meadow is a round moated mound. [1]

1966: Very eroded, almost disappeared. Diameter of mound c150', width of ditch c36-40'. [2]

LiDaR obtained in 2013 appears to show the motte still visible in the Digital Terrain Model shaded to 315 azimuth. The mound measures approx 50 meters wide and the ditch approximately 10 meters. [3]
