Summary
Two depressions on Cock Hill, at TQ09150978 and TQ09140984, are probably lime or marling pits and possibly associated with the LBA farm (see 2027). {1} An unsurveyable depression c.15m across but less than 0.2m deep at TQ09140987 is probably one of the pits referred to. No trace of the other depression could be found in 1971.{2}
