Summary
A quantity of Roman combed and flanged tiles and pottery, including samian ware, was found in 1911 during excavations on the early Norman ringwork (see 0338).{1} A single rimsherd is in Chichester Museum.{2} Included in Black's list of Roman villas.{3}ü Activity Reference - 1 = WS462
