Summary
The site of Pagham Rectory was excavated by SAFU in 1974 ahead of development. The Saxon Features consisted of a cobbled path overlain by a midden cut by three ditches. Pottery from the midden was dated 650-950 and a radiocarbon date of 820 (variation 60) was also obtained.{1}ü Activity Reference - 1 = WS350
