Summary
An archaeological evaluation was carred out prior to the building of a swimming pool. No archaeological features were found. The only finds included fragments of post medieval building material; brick, peg-tile and slate. Also a number of nails and pot sherds of the same period. Three oyster shells were noted with a small fragment of greensand and two fragments of Horsham stone tile, one small late medieval potsherd, and two medieval flint waste flakes which could either be prehistoric or knapped in a later historic period.{1}
