Summary

The fragmentary remains of a possible Bronze Age, Iron Age or Roman field system is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946. These earthworks are situated on Tenants Hill, south east of Cissbury Ring. Associated with these fields is the cropmark of a trackway that follows the ridge of Tenants Hill and is defined for much of its length by two parallel ditches.
