Summary
A Medieval park at Knepp is mentioned from the late C12 onwards, owned by William de Brewes.<1> Various extents of parkscaped area shown on maps of 1813, 1825, 1872-4 and 1898-9. Park also shown hereabouts on Speed's map of 1610.<2> For the castle see 4338.
