| Summary: | Bantham Ham is recognised as a coastal site of sub-Roman/Dark Age date. The results of salvage recording of drainage works in 1982 are examined as well as the interpretation of the site. The appendices 1,2,3 & 4 discuss radiocarbon dates, pottery and shells from the site and Ian Riddler's evidence for bone working at Bantham. See article for full details. |
