| Summary: | Timbers of the wreck that protruded from the river bank were surveyed in 2002, then over the next two years the site was monitored. As erosion seemed to be continuing, further investigation took place in 2005 and 2006. This year we propose to widen the trench to reveal more structural information and give better access to timbers for possible dendrochronological sampling. |
