HER 30290 DESCRIPTION:-
Romano-Britsh building and occupation debris recorded during a modern watching brief at the bottom of a disused swimming pool at Quern's School, Cirencester.
Residual Roman ceramic building material and oyster shells were found in a layer relating to the construction of the swimming pool in the deep end test pit whilst Roman demolition debris including pottery, ceramic building material, glass, animal bone and large limestone blocks were recorded in the shallow end test pit. {Source Work 8643.}
