A Post Medieval quarry site is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. The site is centred at SP 1142 2093 and comprises an amorphous lighter coloured macula which measures a maximum of 72m long by 40m wide and is orientated roughly SW / NE. It probably indicates the site of a former quarry which was subsequently filled-in so that the area could be used for agriculture. {Source Work 4249.}
