Summary

Originally the south devon and tavistock railway should have been connected with the quarry workings in the dewerstone area, however permission to build across the river meavy could not be obtained (anthony). Vis=17/8/1982 (gray). Unfinished stone bridge. Abutment on west side of river meavy seems complete although on the opposite there are only the remains of an embankment (gray).
