Full description

Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1974, SX68NE23 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV274407.

(SX 65228807) Site of cist, four stones (O. S. Crawford, undated).
(23/07/1974) At SX 65218806 are two large natural boulders of rectangular section, earthfast and about 1.0m high. A small intervening space has been hollowed by sheep. Nearby are two rocks at surface level. The whole is a natural formation and not a cist. The information probably originated from H H Breton, a correspondent c 1925 of dubious value.
