Full description
1996: An aerial photograph taken in 194? shows a type FW3/22 pillbox with a protective “skirt” straddling a path 130 yards to the SW of Martello Tower "D". The entrance is on the NE side. <1> <2>
An aerial photograph taken in 1960 shows no sign of it. <3>
2006: This stretch of the coast has been extensively re-profiled and the position of the pillbox in the modern landscape is very difficult to determine.
