Full description

An aerial photograph taken in May 1946 shows the clear shape of a rectangular pillbox with a blast wall facing E towards the anti-tank ditch of the GHQ Line 80/90 yards away. <1>

In 2005, this area has been re-developed by private housing. The site of the pillbox, the base of which, now tarmaced over, is recalled by the owner, is in the rear garden of No. 3 Fanton Chase. <2>
