ECC archives lists "two pillboxes at Hall Farm, Great Holland. Map Ref. 675373". This is an old-style map reference and equates to the current NGR TM 2273 1927. <1> The wartime owner of Holland Hall Farm, recalls that the pillbox stood on the hillside at the junction of three hedges overlooking Frinton and the coast.
