Full description

October 1995: It is reliably reported that a pillbox once stood at Map ref. 709406 (Mil.Ed. ), "Old Lifeboat Sta." <1>

February 2012: It appears most likely that the pillbox stood on the very point of the promontory outside the old lifeboat station. Something can be seen here on February 1941 and, less clearly, on July 1946 aerial photographs, but nothing identifiable. <2> <3>
