Full description
A plan of the wartime defences along the seafront at Clacton-on-Sea (see SMR 21178) shows a pillbox, annotated ‘B’, where a breakwater joins Kings Promenade. <1> An aerial photograph taken in July 1941 shows something here, but not identifiable, and aerial photographs taken a year after the war in July 1946 show that it had been demolished by that date. <2. <3>
