PRN 30048
A fine bridge with three segmental arches, nearly semi-circular and with triple archings built in three orders - probably 17th century in date. Narrow roadway, being only 13 ft in width, but there are recesses over each cutwater. {1}
Bridge over the river Welland. 1651. Ashlar and coursed limestone rubble abutments. 3 semi-circular arches, each having 2 stepped chamfered orders with chamfered hoods. Between the arches are triangular cutwaters. To the sides are plain bands with coped parapet above. On the east side is an 1880 flood mark. Listed grade II star (listed building no.14/64).
