Full description
A floor made of small tesserae in black and white was found in about 1950 during ploughing. In the small area examined there was a row of black tesserae, bordered on each side by white. The floor lay only about 9 inches below the ridge and furrow. It was about 100 feet in length, but the breadth was not ascertained. {1}
