The remains of the village cross stand on the Green at Helpringham. The base and shaft are modern; the plinth of 5 steps appears to be medieval. Now in use as the war memorial. {1}{2}

The steps to the base of the cross, which are 14th century, are listed. The war memorial was erected in 1920. For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {4}

The war memorial at Helpringham is located on the village green. It is a Clipsham stone Runic cross mounted on the base of a fourteenth century cross. The cross, built by Messrs Maxey and Son of Sleaford, commemorated those who died in the First World War and the Second World War. It was unveiled in 1921. {5}
