PRN 35466
RAF Folkingham was first used in 1940 as a decoy airfield. From 1942 it was used as a real airfield until it closed in 1946. The airfield was re-opened as a Thor missile base in December 1959 until August 1963.{1}{2}{4}
During a site visit to Temple Woods, part of which is in RAF Folkingham, a small number of bomb stores were recorded.{3}
