An illegible Roman coin of 1st-2nd century date, pierced for suspension, was found in 1978. {1}
[Note - these items are thought to have been used as amulets in pagan Saxon times - see PRN 61960 for examples found at the Sleaford Anglo-Saxon cemetery, and PRN 46465 for an example from Partney.]
