Historic Environment Record – a computer database and map based system of all the known archaeological and historical sites and finds, buildings and landscapes in the Lake District National Park. Information is included from prehistory to the present day.

A library of local periodicals, monographs, books and other published and un-published sources; aerial and ground photographs and slide collections; survey and excavation reports; listed and non-listed building information; 1st and 2nd Edition OS maps; scheduled monument information; the Register of Parks and Gardens and antiquarian accounts.
