HER consultation by appointment only, except every Thursday 12.00-4.00pm (“Open House” – no appointment necessary but please contact Berkshire Archaeology on 0118 937 5976 beforehand so that we can prepare for your visit in advance).


Visitor Facilities:
A separate study room located at Reading Museum, which contains a large table and our paper monument files, grey literature and some reference books.  Access to the HER database and paper files is at present via the HER Officer.

Range of information available:

Paper files, grey literature and some reference books are available. Photocopying facilities are available within both the Berkshire Record Office and Reading Museum.
