Limited visitor space at County Hall. (Photocopying; extensive library of national and local periodicals, monographs, books and other sources; photographic collection available at the Sussex Archaeological Society Headquarters nearby.)

Range of information available:
Records on ‘all’ recorded archaeological sites within the county. Records of many recent (last 20 years) archaeological excavations within the county. Range of early Ordnance Survey maps and aerial data.

Please note: the ESHER is open to public consultation but an appointment must be made in advance.

Commercial consultations are charged a fee dependent on the time needed.
