Full description
The north corner of the C18 Bartholomew battery (7906.28) was re-used in the 1900s as the site of a small square structure of unkown military function. The 1907 OS map records the building at this location; it describes Bartholomew battery as 'dismantled' (b1). No remains of the structure were noted on a visit in 1990 (h1). The battery is included in the Schedule.
