Full description
Two small scoops approx 20m south east of Colonel George Boscawen's battery (7906.29) are recorded as 'old quarry' on the 1888 OS 1:2500 map (b1) and shown unlabelled on the 1907 OS 1:2500 (b2). Possibly directly related to either the battery or the Garrison wall and thus C18 (b3). The monument was included in the Schedule on 19/3/1998.
