Excavation archives and artefacts held at Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery


Range of information available:

Archaeological information, Listed buildings, Conservation Areas, Scheduled Monuments, etc. can be viewed together with a range of other information sources, on a selection of map bases and vertical aerial photographic coverage. Polygon searches can be carried out to retrieve detailed archaeological information from core HER records. The online facility is now fully publicly available, though under further development. Further improvements and other categories of database and spatial data will be added in the near future. Supporting historic environment information will be added to the Historic Environment web pages at http://hawkeye.peterborough.gov.uk/hawkeye/default.aspx
