Summary : Milton House Chalfont Centre for Epilepsy. Patients villa built in 1898 and designed by Maurice Adams. A two storey house, with a symmetrical design in Domestic Revival style. The ground floor is of brick on an ashlar plinth with colourwashed roughcast to the first floor, the roof is of clay tiles. The three bay centre block has a hipped roof with gablets, it is flanked by single storey projecting canted bays and single storey ranges, the one to the right has been extended. |
