Summary :
Probable Post Medieval enclosure and ha ha seen as earthworks within the parkland associated with Burwell Hall.
More information :
The following Post Medieval features were visible as earthworks in
parkland associated with Burwell Hall and these have been mapped
from good quality air photographs. The remains of a ha ha were
visible extending east and south of Burwell Hall. Each section is
200m long and they are centred at TF 3780 8040. A rectangular
ditch defined enclosure is visible near The Pheasantry on the west
side of the park at TF 3730 8026. (Morph No. LI.144.1.1-2)
