Summary : An inhumation uncovered in a trench dug through Durrington Walls (SU 14 SE 118) in 1917. It is unclear whether it had been inserted within the bank or the ploughsoil overlying it. Thus its date is uncertain.
More information : (SU 14814365) An inhumation burial was exposed within a trench dug through Durrington Walls (SU 14 SE 118) in 1971. It was disarticulated but uncertain whether it was inserted within the bank or the ploughsoil overlying it. It could either be an intrusive Beaker burial, or of a later date. (1-2)
