HER 11740 DESCRIPTION:- A circular depression c17m wide and c1m deep, constructed in quarry SMR 11739 on the line of the ditch of the Bulwarks. This is thought to be "Box Pool" cleared out in September 1847. Two modern concrete rollers lie in the grass at the bottom of this feature which holds no water today. (1) |
