Two areas of the southern part of the possible later prehistoric or Roman field boundaries or trackways were mapped during the Silchester Iron Age Environs mapping project on the former Theale airfield. The boundaries are formed of narrow linear ditches oriented east-west and north west-south east. One area in the south west is centred at SU 65233 70062 and visible over an area measuring 295 m by 263 m. The second area in the south east is centred at SU 66333 69850 and visible over an area measuring 124 m by 75 m. The airfield area has been redeveloped as a modern gravel pit. (2)
