Aerial photographs taken in July 2010 show the remains of the WW2 Heavy Anti Aircraft battery visible as parch marks in the grass. The outline of the clover-leaf array of gun emplacements can faintly be seen, but more obvious are the parch marks of support buildings and roads around the gun emplacement. The site is visible on aerial photographs taken by the RAF in 1945. (3) |
