Summary of Monument

A C18 bridge spanning the River Frome between the civil parish boundaries of Dorchester and Stinsford.

Reasons for Removing the Monument from the Schedule

Grey’s Bridge, Dorchester, Dorset, a mid- C18 bridge, is removed from the Schedule for the following principal reason:

* Upgrading the designation base: its significance and future management is more appropriately recognised through its designation as a Grade II listed building.
