Summary of Monument

An ashlar road bridge over the River Tern, dated 1782 and designed by William Hayward (circa 1740-82).

Walcot Bridge, a road bridge dated 1782 over the River Tern, is de-scheduled, for the following principal reason:

* Upgrading the designation base: its significance and future management are more appropriately recognised through its designation as a listed building.
