Description

Summary of Building

Bridge over the River Lune, built in 1872 for the Earl of Bective. The bridge has two double-chamfered segmental arches with four ribs and a smaller segmental arch to the north-east to take flood water. Built of rock-faced stone with ashlar dressings and parapet.
