Reasons for Removing the Monument from the Schedule

Trekelland Bridge, a late medieval bridge, has been de-scheduled for the following principal reason:

* Updating the designation base: retaining as a Listed building and not as a scheduled monument, better reflects the building’s special architectural and historic interest, and provides a more useful tool for its future management.
