Summary : Site of Second World War heavy anti aircraft battery ZW11 at Gunnersbury Park. It was armed with four mobile 3-inch guns in 1940, and upgunned with four 3.7-inch static guns with GL Mark II radar by mid 1942. It was manned by 152 Battery of the 51st Royal Artillery Regiment in January 1940 (replaced by 313(G) Battery in May 1940), by 450 Battery of the 132nd (Mixed) Royal Artillery Regiment in July 1942 and by 574 Battery of the 137th (Mixed)Royal Artillery Regiment in 1943.
