Summary : Site of Second World War heavy anti aircraft battery D4 at St Radigund Farm. It was listed as unarmed in 1942, but was used as a Diver Battery of the Dover Section , 71 Anti Aircraft Brigade, from 2nd August 1944, when it was manned by 390 Battery of the 173 Anti Aircraft Regiment. After the war it was retained as an Off-Site Nucleus Force Battery.
