Summary : 1412 wreck of Genoese craft which was wecked on her departure from Southampton, possibly in the same storm which wrecked another vessel off the Isle of Wight [SZ 47 NE 485]. Constructed of wood, she was a sailing vessel.
More information : 12 February 1412. The "navis" of Stephanus Columbitus of Genoa, of which he was "patronus" or master, was wrecked in the port of Southampton, "ubi dicitur Cazadones, dum esset ad velum et exeundo de dicto portu" ["at the place called Cazadones, when she was under sail and departing from the said port".] (1)

Vessel named as the STEPHANUS COLUMBILUS, although this appears to be a version of the master's name. (2)
